how to mask multiple recipients

I am actively using the selectable recipients with pipes that the plugin recommends http://contactform7.com/selectable-recipient-with-pipes/.
The problem is that when one of the recipients hits reply in their email client, they quote the original email and simple headers, which shows all the recipients. The whole value of the pipes option is to keep those emails invisible.
One solution is not to include the original email as a quote in whatever mail client. But I am using the pipes to send the email to at least 3 people. I would like to make this idiot proof. Essentially in the recipient I would like to have FOO, Then when the recipient hits reply the header will simply list FOO rather than <email one,email two>. FOO would just be a mask…
Running the latest WP and CF7, without smpt.
Any ideas how to solve this?
