    Hello,

I am interested in using the testimonial for a “quote of the week” box, the only change needed is the time with which the quote or testimonial changes, instead of a timer=5000 set up, is there a way to find server date and the quote changes based on the server date so serverdatetimer=7 where (7) is number of days.

I hope this makes sense. I looked at other widgets and I don’t want quotes from other companies. I have the ones I want to display. So your tool would be great, if I could just figure out the code to use so that after 7 days a new quote of the week pops up.

    Hey Kimberly!

The timer on our plugin represents seconds, and applies to the javascript — it’s a bit different than what you are looking for.

The best way to achieve your goal, with our plugin, is to display a testimonial from a specific category (called Quote of the Week) and manually change the quote in that category.

If you want to pre-load a sequence of quotes, you can make a bunch in this category and set their publication dates into the future. This will then have a new Quote publish every week, and the most recent quote will be the one displayed in the widget.

    I hope that helps!

    Best,
    Richard
