Uploaded images from cell phones

Working on a site http://nextwkslook.com/ and the uploaded images from a call that are done in ‘portrait mode’ are automatically turned sideways into ‘landscape mode’.

You can edit each of these images individually and they’ll show up fine in the post but NOT as the featured image in the home page.

Ideally I’d like WordPress not to rotate them at all if possible – any way to do that?
If not, how do I fix the featured image on the home page issue?
