are there any [significant] db-changes from 3.8.3 to 3.9 final

if not – then i can do an upgrade with copy of all the files over the old version.

look forward to hear from you
    greetings

Upgrade what? Use an older version of WordPress or older copy of database?

I would love to know that, as well. While I want to downgrade back to 3.8.3 because new version broke lot of plugins…

You can downgrade to previous version & it will work.

I RUN THE VERSION 3.8.3 AND I AM HAPPY WITH IT.
but i guess that it is useful to upgrade.
besides this i do not have many plugins.

what i want to know is – are there any db-changes in the development.
or not. if not then i can upgrade with ease: then i would be able to copy the files over the old files….. and thats it.

    love to hear from you

Here’s how you can downgrade your WordPress:

Download a fresh copy of WordPress 3.8.3, and extract it to a folder. Only remove wp-config.php and entire wp-content folder.

Now, only keep wp-config.php and entire wp-content folder in your current install & replace all other files.

It will work. Don’t worry about it.

    hello dear buddies

well this is hard to believe – i cannot believe that anybody does this

well nope – why do you downgrade. ##

Sorry looks like someone took over your thread and your issue was sidetracked.
