• Hello again everyone, I’m posting this time to try and find out how I get the full article to show up on the home page instead of just a snippet of it.

Can someone please tell me where this is set? I know it can be done, as I have seen other WP blogs do it, but I am either blind and not seeing the setting, or it is called something different in 2.5.1?

    Thanks!

  • Open the index.php file in your theme’s directory in /wp-content/themes/what-ever-the-theme-name-is

find the_excerpt() and change it to the_content()

    save & upload

So I have to do this with every article?

I changed my theme back to the default these and it’s showing the whole thing, but I bought a theme and I would really rather use it!

    Thanks!

You just do this once, just follow what I said above. By the way, forgot to mention that you should open the file with a *plain* text editor, such as Notepad, not MS Word.

Go to settings. Then reading. You have the choice there. Install lighter menus it lays things out better in the admin.
