Hi, today I bought new premium wordpress theme. I already made my website on wordpress with free theme, and now i want to replace it and put new theme. Now im wondering how to replace themes. Do I need to go to cpanel (or filezilla) and remove theme files from /wp directory and upload new files from new theme. And start doing everything from beggining?
Andd, can I somehow save files from old theme so if I change my mind or make mistake while making site with new theme, so later I can return old theme back.

You don’t have to log into cPanel/FTP unless you choose to. The theme you purchased most likely comes in a zip file. With that, you can upload the theme through your WordPress dashboard. Follow these instructions, steps 1-3 and 6.

As for your old theme, it will remain installed on your site but it will no longer be active once the new theme is. However, you can switch back at anytime by going to the Appearance -> Themes menu and choosing to do so.

Ok thanks, but if I let it stay on my hosting then it will take a lot of space, because now I have 100 MB hosting and it is 65mb/100mb. so it may be better to delete the 1st theme.
