Suggested improvement: assign value by $_GET or $_POST

It would be terrific to generate a hidden form field and its default value can be chosen by $_POST or $_GET. What do you think?
What occurs to me to solve it right now is a script that places the value of the parameter, say, ‘event’ in a text field whose visibility is hidden.
