Thanks for this indirect suggestion. I have provided this option (after your suggestion), named “Keep only Facebook Commenting”, in the plugin in “Facebook Commenting” section.
I guess, you will not want to install the plugin again. So follow the steps mentioned below:
1. Download the file at following link and replace “wp-content/plugins/super-socializer/super_socializer.php” file with the downloaded file:
http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/super-socializer/tags/2.5.0/super_socializer.php
2. Download the file at following link and replace “wp-content/plugins/super-socializer/js/front/facebook/commenting.js” file with the downloaded file:
http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/super-socializer/tags/2.5.0/js/front/facebook/commenting.js
3. Download the file at following link and replace “wp-content/plugins/super-socializer/admin/facebook.php” file with the downloaded file:
http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/super-socializer/tags/2.5.0/admin/facebook.php
4. Navigate to your website admin panel and enable option “Keep only Facebook Commenting”, in “Facebook Commenting” section. Save changes.

Yes the reason I might not want to reinstall the plugin is because I might just loose all my configurations and hard to find social ID numbers. Some plugins will keep the configurations even when you reinstall.

deleted and reinstalled plugin, choice of commenting button did not go away.
