Extra header on posts page

Thanks for the nice theme. I’m using this for a professional website, and I’m having trouble with the recent posts page. When the site is set to show the recent posts page as the home page, an extraneous header with the page title appears at the top, above the main site header. It’s apparently being set by the body class, but this extraneous title header doesn’t show up on any other pages. I really need to get rid of it!
