I upgraded my themes and now I regret it. It used to put my name first in the Page listings at top and that’s where I put introductory statements. But now there is a category called “Home,” and it is the first title. The content in “Home” is my blog, but I already use the sidebar to do my blogging. My name, James Skelton, still has the introductory content, but now it’s in the middle of the page titles because it is listed alphabetically.

Is there a way to get rid of the “Home” page and put my name first again? The “Home” page doesn’t show up in the page listings so I can’t delete it.

I suppose I could delete all the blogs from Home and put the introductory material there, but at this point, I’m worried that if I do that I’ll just lose all the content.

  • Sounds like you would need to modify your theme files to re-arrange how elements are displayed, if I understand the problem.

You either had custom changes done to your theme that you lost when you upgraded, or new upgraded theme changed some stuff around.

Thanks, Viktor. I was able to straighten it out, but it took awhile.
