Check your image dimensions. Facebook may reject or skip over image files described in og:image
markup if they are small.

Alexanghel – did you have any success figuring this out? I’m having the problem, but only on my home page. I look at page source, and an og:image is not being loaded.
I’m on WP 3.9 and using a custom site built on the Roots starter theme.
Sub pages show a default og:image in the header code. Sub and front pages are using the same head.php file.
Not 100% but seems true that size matters.. 🙂

I’m trying to debate with the chief editor about it.
If someone figures out a work around (with small pics) pls let me know.
I found a workaround about those images by using the Auto Post Thumbnail plugin on the site using the FB plugin.
