    Hey there,

I actually purchased the Pro version but it is causing a plugin conflict with another necessary plugin I am using on my site.

I am currently using WP Job Manager and WP Resume Manager (by Mike Jolley). When I am logged in, I can see the jobs and resume’s listed on the correct pages. However, when I am NOT logged in, I get a message saying there are no jobs, but they still show up in the footer widget.

When Press Permit Core is deactivated, this issue no longer occurs and I see the jobs and resumes correctly regardless of if I am logged in or not.

Mike Jolley has confirmed that this issue is not a javascript conflict and most likely resides in the code of your plugin (as he reports he follows plugin best practices).

I would desperately like these plugins to all play well with each other as the Job and Resume managers are just as pertinent to my site as setting up advanced capabilities for my users (and I cannot find another plugin that seems to do this as yours does).

I had to deactivate your plugin currently since it is causing vital information to disappear and my site is live. Please let me know if you can take a look at it and I would be happy to recreate it or try setting up a separate site where we can recreate the plugin for you to test out possible solutions.

    Thanks,
    Stefanie

Sorry I wasn’t able to investigate that conflict in time for you. I will follow up here if I do resolve it.

I just uploaded a development version (2.1.49-dev) which may resolve this issue. You’ll have to delete your current copy and manually install this version using Plugins > Add New > Upload.

I expect to include these changes in a production version within the next week.

I am getting a similar conflict with WordPress Download Manager Pro, even when I install the development version.

When a user is logged out the below error message appears:

    —-
Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /wp-content/plugins/download-manager/functions.php on line 4005

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /wp-content/plugins/download-manager/functions.php on line 4008

Not sure if this is an issue with PP Core, or with Download Manager Pro, but any insight on how to fix this would be a big help.

    Thank you,
    Ian

My copy of functions.php in Download Manager Free doesn’t have that many lines. Can you post a code excerpt of 10 or 20 lines around that location so I can see what object is being accessed?
