prior to the most recent update I was able to add a small amount of html markup to the description fields in the portfolio items, which is now being stripped out for some reason

I would really prefer the ability to add
    Value 02 Title [Phone]
    Value 02 Description [<a class='icon-phone-sign' href='+18775551212'>(877) 555-1212</a>]

so that the phone numbers can be clickable in a mobile browser, and have the icon next to it.

how do I get that functionality back?

additionally, the portfolio overview button (between the two arrows on each portfolio entry page) is now going to the site’s rootdir instead of to the portfolio’s main page. for some reason the “../” link is not doing what one would expect

then again, my link is to /venues/ not /portfolio/ so merely doing “./” instead of “../” will still not work.

    Hey,
Stripping the html from the metaboxes for the portfolio items was implemented for compatibility with wordpress 3.9. I’ll look into seeing if I can work some magic to bring that back. You might consider just adding your own lists to the post content itself

As for the portfolio grid button you can make that a link by selecting your portfolio page in the theme options misc settings.

ahh thanks, somehow I’d overlooked that portfolio setting in the misc options ( or didn’t understand what it meant )

Interesting that the other change was for compatibility with WP 3.9 — I’m curious what developmental changes prompted that; do you have a link/reference you could point me to ?

You can see why I would like such a feature though, right? 🙂
