Hi I’ve noticed the following fonts are being called repeatedly on our homepage http://eatnabout.com when Shareaholic is activated, and stop being called as soon as I deactivate:

Open Sans and Montserrat are called 8 times each and Varela and Lato twice each.

Any way to prevent these (as far as I can tell) unused fonts being called and adding to site load time, lowering Google PageSpeed Insights scores, etc.? Or at least limit it to one call each? Thanks!

@eatnabout – We’re looking into this now, and should have an update shortly. I apologize for the delay, but it’s in progress!

Okay, thanks for the update. Please keep us posted 🙂

I am also having the same problem. Hence Googlebot’s fetch and render is partial, as googleapis.com has blocked access to those style sheets for bots!

As well, the folder /v2/ on shareaholic.com has been blocked by robots.txt on that domain, which too limits Google’s fetch and render.

    Waiting for an early resolution.

@Rajesekharan – What version of the plugin are you using? We fixed this in a previous update. Let me know!

The current version of the plugin, 7.4.0.8.

    The site is mtherald.com.

The problem continues even after the latest update, 7.5.0.0.

Thank you @Rajesekharan – We will look into this again. Can you please send me a link to your site, so we can explore this further?

    Thank you!

I mentioned the site/URL above and due to slow/poor response, I had to remove Shareaholic and install something else. Sorry.
