Can't delete sub-item from menu

    Hi, I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

    I have created a new site with a large menu (85 pages) and accidentally added a couple of pages twice. However, I’m unable to delete them, because when I click the dropdown arrow to reveal the ‘remove’ option, nothing happens.

    I have tried deleting the page, but the menu item remains.
    I have repaired the database, but no change.
    I have tried changing themes and it is the same regardless, even using twentyfourteen.

    If anyone has any suggestions on how to remove the menu items, it would be much appreciated.
