• Question regarding the search in the slider on http://eduvizor.com/ – there are multiple custom fields defined for the custom post type named “courses” and when I try using the search form in the slider that performs a search by keyword, it doesn’t work when searching for strings in custom fields of the courses.

Ex. try searching “Harvard Business School” – it should return you all the courses that have that string set as custom field “business-school”, but it returns no results.

Do you know where the problem could be? Thank you!

I don’t see any problem here.
I do found the result returned when searching for ‘Harvard Business School’.

    Thanks for your reply!
Did you enter “Harvard Business School” manually into the search like this: http://s29.postimg.org/da4z9nl1j/screenshot.jpg or did you choose it from the Business School dropdown?

I need the first case to work and for the moment it doesn’t. The second is ok.

I see you mean the text search.
The text search have the limitation in wp_query class. It search for the post title and content only. If you defined the search keyword in the meta field or taxonomy, it will not be searched.

Is there any workaround to make this possible?

Unfortunately,so far the answer is no.
Unless you defined the keyword in your post content.
