Media Library uploads failing

    I am attempting to upload images to the media library for inclusion as featured images but the upload consistently fails. I can FTP images but for some reason am also unable to locate the repository for media files.
    Can someone point me in the right direction for this please?
    I assume I may have similar issues with product images when I come to add them.

    The images seem ultimately to turn up so I am plugging on.
