wp ecommerce coupon code not working

    WordPress version:3.8.1
    WP e-Commerce version:3.8.13.3
    Theme:Boutique Theme – Elegant Themes

    I did this: Created percentage off coupon but when you click the update button next to where you enter the coupon code, the total price does not change. I changed to the default wp theme and also deactivated plugins. This didn’t have any effect.

    I expected WP e-Commerce to do this:
    Calculate the discount of relevant coupon and deduct it from full price.

    Instead it did this: Nothing.
    If I enter a wrong coupon code a message does appear saying coupon not valid. But if I put in a correct coupon code it does nothing. The computer appears to think about it but then after a little while there is still no change.
