Everytime I try to update a post I get this
“Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected. We’re backing up this post in your browser, just in case. “

    The site also freezes.

Anyone have any idea what is causing this?

I would email your host provider and let them know everytime you post your browser hangs. It could be an issue with the SQL databse. Maybe write permissions or something.

It worked until latest update of plugins -so don’t think it is a host issue

    So deactivate latest updated plugins…

Soo how does that repair the problem? I could deactivate everything and have a working site but that isn’t my goal!

Well clearly the plugin is poorly coded and causing issues on your site. You probably shouldn’t be using it to begin with.

Evan, the plug-in is a very popular and much used SEO Yost.

From what I am seeing from browsing through this site the problem is associated with permalinks-I really need someone who is familiar with this problem helping.

SEO Yoast is the offending plugin??? That is very strange. I would reach out to Yoast and let him know. He is very responsive and provides great support.
