I’ve tested using both plugins (seoslides v1.4.1, Superfish Menus v1.1.1) and cannot reproduce a conflict.

Are there other plugins installed? What version of WordPress are you using?

Can you link to some screenshots showing the issue so I can attempt to reproduce it?

I’ve got c. 33 plugins going on this site and they are all up to date apart from a backup one which is a point version behind. Rather than list them all (I suspect it’s a front end javacript problem) e.g. Easy Fancy Box, Meta Slider or nrelate Flyout, the 2 things that will prevent me from using the plugin are more aesthetic. (btw, I’ve disabled SuperFish and seoslides now works fine…)

    1. The dark grey band at the bottom of the slides obscures footnotes and page numbers. If I say to someone, please go to slide 4 or slide 34, they aren’t always able to see what slide they are on (I appreciate this is a design element but you always assume the entirety of the slide will be visible.

    2. Similar to 1, it’s hard to know what slide people are on in general. Whilst slideshare shows the slide number clearly, without obscuring the content, seoslides doesn’t make that easy for people. Some kind of slide number indicator and a more obvious (but addmitedly less glamourous) to navigate between slides would help here.

FYI, here are the links to the other plugins above

    Appreciate the feedback, Bruce.

Although the bottom bar is only an overlay that disappears after mouseover, we’ll certainly discuss this feature more internally. We’ll also strongly consider adding slide numbers to the bar.

As we continue to investigate conflicts, we’ll mark this topic as resolved, given your note regarding aesthetic issues preventing your usage.

If you ever have anything else at all to report, please know you can reach us directly via the support form in the plugin section of your site.

    Thanks again!
