    I usually just modify the wp-layout.css include, considering the index template already links to that. You can always use your own, though, and just link to it externally on the index page. Just make sure you have all the same classes and ids as the original; otherwise it’ll be a mess.

    also make sure when you upgrade, you don’t replace any of ur modified files…
