Images broken, image files not been uploaded

    Hi

    I have just launched a new site http://thenetofallthings.com on WordPress using the 2014 theme.

    Under the Insert media option, when I try to upload an image to the Gallery, the image is broken. Obviously, when I try to post that image in my post, the image in the post too is broken.

    I have tried some tricks but they did not work.I personally feel it has got to do with the Read, Write codes but I am not sure, and I do not know the code numbers that I need to change to correct this fault.

    Pl help.

    Hello NuNet, you’ll have to go to the FTP, images folder, right click on folder and then change the permission to the entire folder to 755.

    This should work.

    Okay, but once I do that, do I need to keep it at 755 or re-change it to some other code?

    keep it for 755 for this folder and it’s fine.
    I had same problem on prestashop platform, and worked fine.

    No, changing permissions to 755 has not worked.
