Hi Audrey….First, the WP Header is actually used in this theme as a background image for the banner area. If you need to remove this, go to Appearance >> Header >> Remove header
The WP Header image as a background will automatically repeat to fill the area.
I also see your current image is in a text widget, but the file url for it comes up as a 404, so the file name is there (as the ALT tag) which is why you see it but not the image:

Might want to check the path where this image is.
The repeated image you see though is your header background image.
What is it you were trying to do?
Thank you so much for the quick reply and helping me with this.
I deleted the Text widget so that 404 and file name is gone now. I removed the header but then I added it back in because i’d like the image to be there.
What I’d like is for this image to look big as big as the one on the demo site: http://demo.styledthemes.com/circumference/
Right now it’s a thin bar and I’d like to have it as the whole image and on the inside pages/post have it that thin.
Does that make sense?
You can see what I mean here: http://dotmkusa.com/
Thanks again for the help. 🙂

Understandable… so you currently have your image as the banner background using the WP Header feature and it looks that size because this is how the banner area looks when no slideshow or static image is published there with a widget.
What you will want to do is publish a widget with an image or slideshow to the Banner widget position. I think you tried that before but you want to make sure the <img src…> for your image is the image file URL (get this when you click to edit an image) and to ensure that the link works (the other one was a 404 error not found).
The slideshow on the demo link you posted is actually for the premium version of Circumference and not the free version here: Lite Demo
The size I used for that image is 1920px by 500px
THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!! 🙂
I’m doing this for a non-profit so as soon as they have the funds to purchase I’ll be back to purchase the premium version.
One last quick question that still has to do with the header. Is there anyway that the thin header can be displayed on the pages/posts so that big image isn’t on every page?
If not we’ll work with this and when we upgrade I’ll change it for them. 😉
Thank you again for all the help. I really do appreciate it.

If I understand this correctly, you want to show your banner image on select pages? Use a plugin such as Display Widgets. This lets you publish and show widgets (any widget) on any page or pages you want.
Cheers 🙂
I just wanted to follow up to see how things are going and unless you have any further questions relating to this topic, is it safe to set this one as “Resolved”?
Sorry, was away from computer yesterday.
So if I use that widget I can then turn off the header on all the pages I select right?
If so, then yep you can close out this thread and marked it as resolved.
Thank you so much for your time and helping me with this.

Sorry for late reply, not sure how I missed your last posting.
You should be fine with the widget and not use the WP Header feature.

You could also use a plugin like ‘Advanced Text Widget’. This will let you target any page(s) with your widget(s). Another alternative is the plugin ‘Widget Logic’ but that one’s a bit more complicated, although extremely effective.
How do you edit the text in the “banner header” that is pink in the demo I have the free version for now – until I make my final decision to use this template
@coachlinda…..best to post your question as a new topic before the moderators catch this. This posting topic is already set as resolved. If you can repost it as a new topic, I will be happy to follow up.
