Thanks for this plugin. It looks smart and should do the exact job I need.

However, once the form is submitted in Chrome, it gives a 302 error, page temporarily moved.

In Opera and Firefox, the captcha does not show up.

Thanks for any help on this. It looks like it should make a great plugin.

    Hi Election2015UK,
Can you see captcha image on chrome?? or is it working for any browser at all? Cause i have checked and everything is fine from my side.
Only possible reason is your host server may not have GD library installed which is required for it. You can ask your server administrator to check for GD library and as well as FreeType Library.

If you check error. log you should be able to see an error “PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function imagettftext()” which pretty much says FreeType library is not present.

I will have a look at error 302 aswell.

    Hi Election2015UK

Check this link. It may help you.
    http://www.checkupdown.com/status/E302.html

You may need to contact your webserver administrator to check if the URL redirection has been set up correctly or not.
Also try to give the permission 755 to the tt-guest-post-submit folder rather than 777.

Its working absolutely fine on my localhost and as well as webserver as well.

You can check the following link where i implemented this plugin without the captcha functionality as its not working for you so you can check everything is working ok.

    Hello Rashed

Thanks for all your time and effort on this.

GD and Freetype libraries are installed.

Captcha appears on Chrome and now on Opera but still not on Firefox. Might be quirk. Usual browser cache clear, permissions, approvals etc.

Error page still comes up on form submission, but form is actually sent to admin for approval.

Apache error log no entries, no help.

However, I really need to be able to get email address, which does not get entered anywhere at admin, it seems[?]

Cannot find a database entry, either.

    Many thanks and best wishes.

    Not really resolved, is it?

    Or was that in error?

Email address and name is saved in custom meta field.
May be its not selected from screen option in your post edit page.
Click on screen option menu on top of the post edit page and then check “custom field”.
