Oh sure, I guess we can keep it in here, in case anyone else has the same issue.
My site is http://gamerssphere.com/
For 1, we’ve heard this from some users but have not been able to reproduce it; at times, the issue was that there were problems with the posts’ OpenGraph tags. Can you link me to a post that had this issue?
Also, for a test, I checked one of your posts:
https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object?q=http%3A%2F%2Fgamerssphere.com%2F2014%2F03%2F27%2Fnintendo-fan-video-must-see%2F
Facebook complains about the fact that you have 2 “article:section” tags there, although I admit that this isn’t clear from what they say, I had to test to make sure. This is because the post is in 2 Categories, and for some reason, Facebook doesn’t like 2 “article:section” tags, though I couldn’t find any documentation that specified this. At the same time, in my tests I was able to Publicize to a Page even with that same error on my test post, so I doubt that caused Publicize to not function.
For 2, Yoast’s SEO plugin defines multiple “og:image” tags, and Facebook selects one to use. I can’t tell you how the SEO plugin decides which images to include there, so you may be best off asking them directly:

As an example, one of the most recent ones was this post:
http://gamerssphere.com/2014/03/25/nintendo-attending-pax-east-2014/
The featured image for every post is the one shown at the beginning of it, but if you see on Facebook, it took one of the images from the sidebar, and not that article:
If the issue has to do with Facebook itself (which is what I actually thought) well, there isn’t really much we can do, besides maybe just deleting the automatic post and manually making a post with the right image, which can be like our workaround for this situation, mostly because I’m sure this is hard to reproduce as it happens way too randomly…
What I’d be even more interested in fixing is the fact that some scheduled posts (not all, but most of them) do not get shared at all, and given that most of the times they are scheduled because I won’t be around my computer, nor phone, that publication won’t be shared for hours, and that is something that I shouldn’t really need to be worried about
Hi, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Facebook still gives an error so I’d say that the issue is likely because of that. Also, you might want to try larger images; they now suggest images that are 1200px by 630px.
Not a problem Richard, thanks for the response.
I haven’t actually experienced any issues ever since the update to WP 3.9 and the couple of updates (I believe there were) of the plugin. So it is now working as expected, even with the image dimensions that I’m setting (those dimensions are a requisite due to my slideshow)
