  • You should change the name of the admin login to something else. The hackers hit your site over and over again trying different passwords for admin. If you make the admin user HArsh with a hard password you will not be hacked again.

Try to clean up the mess. My plugin “Threat Scan” will give you some clues about any back doors they installed. There are other security plugins that will help.

I see in the FAQ’s you are reducing the maintenance of this plugin (which is a shame but understandable). Have you thought about putting it up for adoption using the appropriate tag.

(sorry I have put this in the wrong place, I will start a new topic in your support forum)

    Hi keith,

Thanks for your valuable input. By the way I have not used Admin user name which is administrator of the site. I have used another user name. Still it got hacked.

One more thing I would like to suggest It will be an addition if you provide a feature where we can recent registered users(it should be visible on plugin dashboard).

    Regards,
    Harsh
