Ok here it is. Try clicking on any post and sharing it. I have social meta set to share the featured image and it doesn’t work. It always tries to share the exact same image, no matter which post you are on.

All in One SEO Pack is working fine on both sites. Check out the source code and search for og:image. You’ll see that they are correct. Also run the sites through Facebook’s OG debug tool and you’ll see they are correct –

What is not working is the Share code, it’s not picking up the OG Image that you set. That’s nothing to do with All in One SEO Pack, that’s a problem with the code for those Share buttons.
Wait a sec. I have the “Seelect OG:Image Source” set on both those sites to “Featured Image.” But instead, it’s grabbing the default image. I only want the default image for the home page, or for pages where there is no featured image set.
And it’s not the button code, because the same thing happens when you copy and paste the url into facebook directly.

Can you provide an example of a post where you have a Featured Image set but where the default image that you set under All in One SEO, Social Meta is being displayed instead?
Facebook doesn’t have to use the OG meta you provide, it’s just a suggestion. Recently they’ve been giving the user the choice of which image they want to use when they share a post on their wall. You cannot control this, you can only suggest the image you want used.

It doesn’t give a choice. What’s strange is that it works for some of the other posts.

Yes, that’s correct. So why, when I paste the link into Facebook, is it showing this image???

I can’t answer that question, you’d have to ask someone at Facebook why they don’t use the OG Image you set for that post. Again, I must stress that you cannot force them to display what you set in your OG meta, we’ve seen it a lot this year where Facebook is showing what they want and not what you provide. Remember they love to beta test things in the wild so this could be them trying new things.

I have a similar problem, i cannot load up any images, when i click the upload image button which is located at all in one SEO/Social Setting/upload image it takes me to my library, i click on media library and select my image.
Now the pop up shows my selection and i choose the correct size and the only option i see to upload this to my Social Settings is to Insert to Post and when i do this nothing happens. No file is loaded into my Social Settings on that specific page.
Can you tell me what i am doing wrong? The page I am trying to test this on is http://www.boxingbets.com/featured-sportsbook/. My goal is if someone uses the floating Facebook Share link on the top left side that it will pop up the Share box and use the image i am trying to load to the Social medio section of All in One SEO.

Hi Guys, i solved this problem in all-in-one-seo-pack/aioseop_opengraph.php. You must change “default-user-image.png” this code “your image url”. And that is ok 🙂
