I guess the problem is that you might be doing swipe left while scrolling that’s why its opening the menu. If you make the menu open from top then you can see swipe will not work and you can see this working.
This isn’t a bug but a feature. I will add option on admin to deactivate this feature in my next release. And regarding the menu opening when clicking anywhere, currently its done like that but don’t worry very soon i will release a new version with more admin options.

Great plugin, just testing it and looks nice.
Same problem here, as you explained it is not a bug but seems to be; the swipe is too sensitive with the finger scrolling up and down, so the menu unexpected shows many times while browsing.
Both disabling this feature or make finger swiping longer in order to make aware that the movement has been done to open the menu.

Thanks for your heads up; I’ve just updated the plugin and set ‘enable swipe” radio-box to ‘No’ and it solved the issue to me 🙂
