    Dashboard –> Settings –> General. Is anyone can register ticked?

    Yes. I have been getting help from a Disqus rep and he had me make some changes in Appearance, Editor, comments.php that did not work either. Not sure what exactly is the code that belongs in comments.php. We have never touched it before so I just put in the div tag he told me to.

    Navigate to Settings >General remove the check mark from “Anyone can register” and save.
    Most Probably you are getting this email because some new users are registering.

    Thank you. I removed the check so will see if this stops it.
