Centering Page Content after sidebar was removed-Start Point Theme

    I need help centering my page content. I was able to remove the side bar, however the page content is now on the left hand side of page and there is a blank space where the side bar would normally be. I am using the start point theme. I have little word press experience so any help is appreciated.

    I have a similar problem but with Twenty-Fourteen theme.
    I want to remove the right hand sidebar (content sidebar) – which I think I’ve done – and then have the main content stretch right across the page starting from the left sidebar.
    I’ve searched for answers but without success so far.
    Here’s my website (only just started) in case anyone can advise.
