    Hi all,

I’m trying to use the Campaign Monitor Synchronization plugin with a new list i’ve created specifically to gather e-mails from the website…. and i’m getting the following error :

    Campaign Monitor synchronization error.
Failed to deserialize your request. Please check the documentation and try again.Fields in error: subscribers

I’m using wordpress 3.8.1 with WooCommerce and also have the ‘User Role Editor’ plugin activated to create a few user roles…

Can this be due to incompatibility issues ? Is there anything that can help me debugging this ? Please let me know if further information is required ! Thanks for all the help anyone can give!

I guess there is some data in ‘subscribers’ that breaks the json. What is stored in the field ‘subscribers’? can you disable this field in the plugin options and try again?

Please email me at mail@carloroosen.nl .

    Hi Carlo,

Many thanks for your reply, just e-mailed you now!

    I’m getting this error too.

I don’t check any fields, and the “subscribers” isn’t even on that list.

Hi all, we introduced a new bug when repairing the previous. Just a sec, there will be a new version available in a minute

The previous error is fixed with the update you just pushed. But now its giving me this error:

Fatal error: Error making request with curl_error: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received
    originating from transport.php – line 158

yes we have problems with svn right now. I’ll will send you a note when all is ready

    Hi kakashigr,

Seems done. We did not increase the version number, so you need to de-install the plugin and install it again.

The SVN commit only updated a few files, so it was incomplete. In the meantime we have no idea if this problem caused your bug. Please let me know.

    Cheers, Carlo

    Hi kakashigr,

I am very sorry you experience these problems. Could you please upgrade to 1.0.8 now?

Thanks a lot for you patience, Carlo

I’m afraid I still get the error

Fatal error: Error making request with curl_error: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

    thats on my VPS.

On my localhost, I get name or service not found after waiting for a long time each time.

    Full localhost error:

Error making request with 0: php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known

    Hi kakashigr,

Is Curl enabled on your servers, localhost and VPS? It seems more like a server related error.

    Thanks, Carlo

    Hi kakashi,

If you don’t know how to do it (check if curl is installed or not), please follow this tutorial to create a phpinfo.php file that will show you what you have (and have not installed) on your server :

    https://kb.mediatemple.net/questions/764/How+can+I+create+a+phpinfo.php+page%3F#gs

It’s linked to mediatemple website but its instructions are pretty much generic… As soon as you’ve done the phpinfo file and upload it to the server, please open the file in the browser and try to locate the following ::

‘cURL support : enabled ‘ … if it shows disabled, then it’s bad news for you and you need to yum curl back to php!

    yummy! πŸ™‚ hope this helps!

Lena suggests: Maybe it is not cURL but some host that can’t be resolved or something like that, some DNS resolving error

    kakashi,

Maybe you could give us access to a public server. We are happy to help you.

    Carlo
