One/more of the plugins right here does it. Which one it is I have no clue. And I could be wrong. So, it’s your call.

Check your spamwords list – it may well have a blank line in if they are being moderated.
What are your settings in any plugins you are using ?
I’m not using any plugins for WP.

I’m having my own spam problems and wanted to turn off the notification. If that option available in an upgrade?
