Doesn't like excerpts

It seems that if text hoover recognizes a term in a manually entered post excerpt, it would try to insert itself into excerpt resulting in whole site failing to load properly. Doesn’t happen when no excerpt is entered into excerpt field nor does text hoover works on the excerpt in this case. I don’t know if this is something that only happened to me but I thought a setting where one could choose to apply (or not) text hoover on exceprts would be great feature
