Grid shows not-featured articles

Hi.
My grid shows posts that are not featured or sticky, and they even appear in the blog feed as well even when I disabled the option for posts to appear in the blog feed and in the featured section at the same time.
When I disable the plugin, it goes back to normal and the featured section shows the actual featured posts but when I activate the plugin again, my regular posts go up to the grid.
Any ideas on why this may be happening? Thanks.
