Alignment of productphoto and info problem

I’ve been at this for a while now and I cannot find the root of my problem. My productpages keep aligning in an ugly way (it was in the WC1-series and it is now in the most recent version of WC).

I am using a child theme of 2014 and my alignment has two issues:

1. My productphoto aligns left and my info to the right, however they do not stand next to eachother. It is picture… huge whitespace…break…huge whitespace…productinfo.

2. Since the overhaulupdate for some reason, when viewed on a mobile device, it aligns products into two columns. One aligns to the abolute left, one to the right, with a huge space in between.

Please tell me how to fix both. I don’t know where to look.
