Something seems to be wrong with Infinite Scroll on your site. Could you deactivate the Infinite Scroll module, and see if that fixes it? If it does, could you give me a list of all active plugins on your site, so that I can try to reproduce this issue?
Thanks for the suggestion. The scroll shows it is already deactivated because I have text in the footer or at least that what the option is showing.
As I mentioned, then, could you give me a list of your active plugins so I can try to reproduce?
I tried removing the widget in the footer. The Infinite Scroll is enabled now. I am able to Infinite Scroll and use the older post link in FireFox 27 but IE 11 still does not work with either the Infinite Scroll or the older post
I put the widget back and Firefox still works but IE does not.
I have the following plugins.
Contact US 1.6
Easy WP SMTP 1.0.7
Jet Pack 2.9.1
Meta Slider 2.6.3
Participants database 1.5.4.7
Table Press 1.3
WP Photo Album Plus 5.2.18
Can you try turning off al plugins, and switching to another theme temporarily? Also, did you modify the code in TwentyEleven in any way?
I had tried another theme and it did the same thing. No changes to theme.
I have not tried to disable all the plug in. I’ll try that. If I disable the ones I’ve set up like the database, will I loose anything when I go to enable it again?
OK. I disabled all my plug in’s and the older post link was working.
I tested each plug in one by one as I enabled them to ensure the older link stayed working.
The plugin that broke it was
WP Photo Album Plus
Version 5.2.20 | By J.N. Breetvelt a.k.a OpaJaap
Hi there, I can confirm an issue with the infinite-scroll module. A click on the older post link cause an error “414 Request URI too long”. It looks like some localization data from an other plugin is appended to the older post Link. But only on the frontpage.
Hi telebrain,
Could you please start your own thread, as per the Forum Welcome?
