    Hi, great theme indeed!
    I created a child-theme css + folder and I do see it as proper in the manage themes panel.
    But if I live-preview or activate it I get the following error:
    Warning: require_once(/home/mhd-01/www.sicreaweb.com/htdocs/wp-content/themes/isis-child/admin/options-framework.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/mhd-01/www.sicreaweb.com/htdocs/wp-content/themes/isis/functions.php on line 456

    Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/mhd-01/www.(my site).com/htdocs/wp-content/themes/isis-child/admin/options-framework.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear’) in /home/mhd-01/www.(mysite).com/htdocs/wp-content/themes/isis/functions.php on line 456

    any hints on what I should do?

    odd that I should have to use a plugin, it’s not standard.
    I ‘could’ do it, but can’t see any reason why I couldn’t do this without?
    WP has a standard way for children themes.
    It’s ok if I also have to copy another thing in the child theme folder (some functions file with some extra code maybe?)

    let me know, I hate being dependent om plugins (which may or may not be updated and kept) for vital stuff like an entire theme.

    i solve this issue in next version . now you create child theme with this plug in . after creating just uninstall plugin .

    Dont’ worry, orbisius: once a plugin is found to work and be useful we may uninstall it when not needed anymore, but we sure remember it when we need it again! 🙂
    I have a whole list of useful plugins I use in developing, and then when the site goes live I uninstall them, so the site is lean and fast. But I do appreciate all the tools I have when starting up a site.
