    Hi, and thanks once again for a great plugin. Unfortunately the latest version is not working on my site. I begin the backup process and when the plugin attempts to backup the database I get the message: “Error: Unable to backup your database, please try again” I am using the latest version of WordPress (3.8.1) with 4 other active plugins (Contact Form 7, Newsletter, Simple Slideshow Manager and WP Catalogue). I noticed one other thread where this problem was mentioned, but it is now marked as resolved so I am posting a new thread. Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions.

    Thanks for letting me know you are having issues. This was a major release for us so I expected to have a few issues but not with the database export. We made significant changes to support just about any database configuration.

    or just shoot me an email at support at wpbackitup dot com? I would like to provide instructions on how to turn on logging so we can track down whats causing the error.

    Hi Chris, Thanks for your response. I have opened a support ticket on your site. I am temporarily using another plugin on my site but I love WP Backitup for its ease of use and simple interface. I hope to be able to use it again soon. Sabra

    Hi Chris,
    My mails are bouncing back from your support@ address but I wanted to thank you for your great help (not to mention a huge thank you to all of you out there that create and develop for WordPress). I also wanted to let you know that I regularly used version 1.5 on multiple sites to create and store backups locally. 🙂
    I hope you can easily find the bug and let me know if I can do anything else on my end.

    Sorry for the mail bounce. I moved to a new host yesterday and still working out the kinks. I will follow up as soon as I have a resolution.

    This issue has been resolved and will be available soon in version 1.6.1. Thanks for all your help troubleshooting the issue.
