• Using WP Twenty Fourteen Theme latest version and any of these browsers Chrome, Mozilla or IE, when I go to Edit Post mode the text is invisible (except for small lines)…cannot see text or media as it is invisible. I can double click and drag cursor across the edit area and the text is present.

Ironically I have a second blog with same setup and am not
    experiencing these issues.

Can you recommend how to make the text and media visible in the Edit Post mode?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    Hello esmi!

Thank you very much for your recommendations!!!

Deactivating all plugins allowed all my text and media to be
visible in the EDIT mode again.

Now my task is to add back each Plugin individually to identify
    the culprit!

I am most appreciative of your support! Have a great day!
This is a wonderful site and blogging system…with all it’s
    supporters!

    Sincerely,

    Dan Norris
