Remove the previous and next link for posts on blog

i read the previous closed tread saying edit .css can remove it. but my CSS is empty. please advice

i want to remove the previous and next post

Do not edit the Twenty Fourteen theme. It is the current default WordPress theme and having access to an original, unedited, copy of the theme is vital in many situations. First create a child theme for your changes. Or install a custom CSS plugin.

i tired css tutorials, its more like html, changing color and body style is easy, but how do i remove the previous and next link? any code to solve my problem?

okay found the code, paste this in css and it solved my problem

.nav-links { display: none; }
