Gallery picker shows no galleries

I have just switched another site to NextCellent Gallery. Everything went smoothly, we can see the galleries, add new galleries and images, but in the edit page window clicking on the NextCellent Gallery icon to pick a gallery to insert shows no galleries in the drop-down window. I can manually add the token and it works, but I would like to find the fix to have the picker work the way it used to. Any help will be much appreciated.

This problem is visible only on the admin page, so I am not including a link to the actual site. But, this is how the drop-down looks with nothing showing:

OK, let’s try restating the question. Is there a way to fix the non-functional drop-down menu in the gallery picker window to insert a gallery into a post or a page?

I haven’t found a fix for this, and with WP versions up to 3.8.3 it worked ok.

But with WP 3.9 (and WP 4.0.alpha) the button works either the way you have pointed out (a blank dialogue window) or partly as follows:

it shows the lists of galleries, albums and pictures ,but when I press the “Add” button the dialogue window will not close and shows only the digit zero (0). If I close the dialogue from the cross in the top right corner, nothing will be added.

With the new WP 3.9 this seems like a conflict with WP or some plugins – but I do not yet know which.

To solve the issues with WP 3.9+, you need to replace two files in /admin/tinymce/, in the plugin folder. These updated files fix compatibility issues with the new TinyMCE. There will hopefully be an update soon with the fixes as well.

I’ll also take a look at why the drop down is empty, although this doesn’t happen on my site, so I don’t know if I’ll fond anything.

@niknetniko Thank you!!! This works perfectly when the situation is the galleries show but when you click to insert you get a “0”
