Hi, i encounter the same problem.
If i disable permalinks and keep qtranslate-slug activated , it still doesn’t work when i call a page like that:
http://mywebsite/?topic=one-topic
it works fine with:
http://mywebsite/?forum=one-forum
also with
http://mywebsite/?bbp_user=one-user
Is there a way to add the support of “topic” queries?
Or at least to disallow qtranslate-slug for that specific query type?
Hi,
I got stuck at same point : single topic returns #404 error.
Otherwise everything works fine.
Has anyone ideas to solve this issue ?
(wordpress 3.8.1 / qtranslate slug 1.1.5 / bbpress 2.5.3)

Hi HB,
i found that even while qtranslate slug is activated this url format works:
http://mywebsite/?post_type=topic&p=578
So why the rewriting from:
?post_type=topic&p=578
to
?topic=one-topic
doesn’t work?
what if found up to now :
in qtranslate-slug.php the function post_type_link() seems to be the source of the problem.
Need to find a way to include the “bbpress topic posttype” management in this function. I replaced for instance the ‘$post_link;’ value by my topic basic url (like ?post_type=topic&p=578) and it works… ok every post permalink goes there now :).
