Archives Customization

    The way the archives currently work is to show the featured image, followed by title, followed by the full post.

    As I have a custom post type of videos, showing the featured image is a bit redundant, and creates confusion.

    Any option to control how archives react would be welcome. The standard options of showing excerpts or full posts, and showing featured images or not would be best. Those are two check-boxes that should be found in the Reading part of theme customization.

    I agree completely I’ve added an option to choose between showing entry excerpts or the full posts on archive pages. The wording on the option to show featured images on excerpts is a little outdated, but I’m remedying that too. That option will show featured images wherever excerpts are displayed.
