media-upload.php not showing media items

    I’m trying to use the media library via thickbox and it was working fine until the last update to 3.8.1. Now when I go to the Library tab, none of my media items show up in the list, yet it shows that there are 61 items in my library (see screenshot).

    I’m not getting any debug errors in PHP or in js console so this is really tripping me up.

    I’ve tried uninstalling plugins and trying it as I uninstall them as well as switching the theme to 2014,2013,2012

    If anyone has experienced this, please, please, please help me out!!

    I’ve figured out my issue.

    Apparently if you have a custom post type by the name of ‘tab’ it will interfere with the media items list some how… go figure.
