look into the generated code (either use a browser inspection tool or use the ‘view source’ of the browser) to find the specific CSS id for that one menu item, then use that to style it in a different color.
example:
#menu-item-799 a { color: green; }
#menu-item-799 a:hover { color: red; }
or:
#menu-item-799 a { background-color: #eee; }
#menu-item-799 a:hover { background-color: #ccc; }

I’ve found the menu id, but where should I add these lines? style.css?
Thanks
where should I add these lines?
it is recommended to make customisations to the formatting:
– either in style.css of a child theme; http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
– or via a ‘custom CSS’ plugin; http://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=custom+css

Okay, thanks, I’ve done it with a custom CSS plugin. Can I change the color of the letter too?

Or make the letters of a page bold, that would be better.
