Usually mendeley.com redirects to the redirect url you specified when asking for the client id. It also is listed in the configuration section of the plugin. Could you please have a look at the url and try if it works when you copy it into the web browser?

We had different reports of similar behavior (Mendeley.com hangs after Request and Authorize Access Token) – and it always was a browser issue – Safari seems to be quite picky – Firefox did work all of the times.

Actually I have the same problem with Chrome, Firefox and Iceweasel.
After I push on the button “Request and Authorize Access Token”, and use my mendeley API credentials for the authorization, I’m redirected to the wordpress control panel, but the main page is empty.

If I load again the plugin page, there is no access token.

In the redirection I note that the URL has a code=DOHVbou…etc. parameter. Is this the access token? If yes, is there a way to put it somewhere by hand?

Ok, I’ve solved the issue. I had not installed curl and php_curl, errors weren’t printed by default. Probably such dependency should be put in a clearer way.

I will highlight the dependency issue stronger in the readme.txt. Thanks for the feedback.
