Showing links in stories shared from news sites

    Hi,
    When I choose the ‘Email this story’ option from various news websites (like BBC, for example) and send news stories directly to my blog, even though the post shows up just fine, none of the links in the message are live. They just show up as plain text. Is this a setting somewhere, or is it specific to the service sending the email, or is there anything I can do about it? I run a blog for a national volunteer organization that relies on articles about current events to do its work, and it would be so handy if I could post things this way… any chance?

    Hmm. Is it opening those links in an email client, or just asking you for an address to send them to? Have you tried emailing one to yourself to see if it gets sent as plain text or not?
