Recently I was having problems with changes in this one bit of css code not updating in the browser. I had the same problem but it just fixed itself later. Happened in all browsers and clearing the caches didn’t work. Around the same time I changed the top of my css file to ‘designed-by..’ because it was now completely my design not the person who’s template I used…And at the same time I also updated filezilla to version 3.0.10.

then I got the old broken theme thing/theme does not exist error, etc, and it just wouldn’t let me update at all. It snowballed into me loading a new css file to wordpress, and trying all the fixes….then it got really bad after I then tried to change the permissions in filezilla.

Although I’ve now deleted and re-uploaded wordpress, (it got that bad) and reset all the permissions, I still am getting a 403 and 404 error when I try to access my login page or blog at all just on the wordpress section of my site, which apparently is quite common and seemingly unresolvable – could mean anything, might not even be 403, could be 401 in disguise.

This wordpress is buggy as anything I have to say…honestly I’ve had one weird thing after another with it…blank pages, no pages, error pages, shifting elements, bug bug bug everywhere, ghost town forum that everyone seems to have abandoned and a definite lack of child-proofing considering how easy-peasy they advertise it…I do wonder if it’s worth the 3 months of my time it took to build what should have taken 3 weeks.
