Feature image with animated gif

    Hello

    Wondering if someone can help

    All my posts are setup with a animated gif as Featured image but when i create a new page and insert the appropriate shortcode all i get is the default “No Thumbnail” image

    Ive ran a few tests with images from a url and changed the settings to “Pick image from: First image on post” and this works fine

    I’m probably missing something simple so appreciated your help
