• StudioPress,
You offer all these tools and plugins to make the sites match the themes you sell and then you do NOT update them.

Why not take the second to release the Slider you brag about on all your theme tutorials and update it so it’s approved to work with version 3.81?

I dont get it. I bought your package of themes for over $300 almost a year ago and almost every theme you sell all need plugins which have your name behind them, yet they havent been approved as “updated” to work with current versions of WP.

Yoast – Im surprised you still endorse these guys if what I wrote is accurate above. If it is true why not put a little pressure on them to get the updated version out.

I know there are other sliders out there, none really free, none endorsed to work well with genesis, etc. Please advise. Thanks!!

What gives? These are MY opinions. Please feel free to correct me or agree.

Identifying that a plugin is compatible with a version of WP does not require updating the plugin. The compatibility is stored in the readme.txt.

If there were any compatibility issues with any of the SP plugins we would have updated them shortly after the new version of WP was released.

Also, the notice on the plugins page is automated by WordPress. It doesn’t mean someone actually checked it and found it not working.

You can see on the demo sites it does indeed work and the demo sites are running the latest version of WordPress.
